The finishing department is the final stop in the printing shop and meets the same high quality standards as every other department. aL Printing has a well outfitted finishing department that is responsible for giving the packaging the finishing touch.
The finishing department ensures that the client’s personal printing requirements are met down to the smallest details. Additional work we often perform includes:
- Lengthwise cutting,
- Cross cutting (cut off),
- Margin punching,
- Wrapping,
- Single-colour impression (UV flexo),
- Partial or complete UV lacquering,
- UV silkscreen printing or lacquering,
- Relief printing (Braille characters),
- Cold foil,
- Embossing,
- Special effects and security aspects (such as application of micro-particles).
